Raja Ghepan Temple:  Lord Ghepan (Gyephang) is the most revered and presiding diety of Lahaul Valley. So much that he is called Raja Ghepan (King Ghepan). This temple is in Sissu, where all vehicles stop and people offer prayers. There is a lake above 5800 m known as Ghepan Ghats or Ghepan lake This temple is just 100 mts away from Hotel .

Atal Tunnel: Measuring 9 km, the Atal Tunnel is the longest highway tunnel above 10000 ft in the world, and it has been named after one of India’s former PM, late Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Atal Tunnel was inaugurated by Indian PM Narendra Modi on 3rd October 2020 to enable travellers to reach from Manali to Ladakh throughout the year. The tunnel starts from Dhundhi located 25 km away from Manali, and ends near Teling village in Lahaul valley. Shaped like a horseshoe, this double-lane tunnel bears an overload clearance of more than 5 metres, which would allow even heavy trucks and vehicles to easily cross through it. It has the capacity to handle 3000 cars and 1500 trucks on a daily basis.

Rohtang Pass: Rohtang Pass is just 35 km away from Hotel Triveni Sissu. The pass provides a natural divide between the Kullu Valley with a primarily sanatani culture (in the south), and the arid high-altitude Lahaul and Spiti valleys with a Buddhist culture (in the north). The pass lies on the watershed between the Chenab and Beas basins. On the southern side of this pass, the Beas River emerges from underground and flows southward and on its northern side, the Chandra River (flows from the eastern Himalayas), a source stream of the river Chenab, flows westward.

Sissu Waterfall (Pulam Dhara): Sissu waterfall is just 2 km away from Hotel and this short trek to waterfall attracts lots of tourist and trekkers every year. The view of the waterfall across the Chandra River and opposite the town, locally known as 'Palden Lhamo dhar', is particularly spectacular. 

Sissu Lake: Sissu Lake is also one of the main attractions of the Valley. One can enjoy boating in this lake during summer season.

Nursery: Sissu nursery is just 1 km from Hotel. This place is famous for photography in autumn season. This place is surrounded by poplar trees and attracts lots of tourist.

Khoksar: Khoksar is one of the villages in Lahaul Mandal in Lahaulspiti District in Himachal Pradesh state in Northern India. And Khoksar meaning is Alpine, Big, Colossal, Gigantic, Highland, Huge, Mammoth, Tall and Towering. About 19 km from Rohtang Pass, and 7 km from North Portal of Atal Tunnel Rohtang.

Gondla Fort: House of the Thakur of Gondhla, called the Gondhla castle or fort attracts a large number of tourists. This fort is around 12 km from Hotel Triveni Sissu.  The castle is an example of the indigenous timber bonded stone-style of the western Himalayas, consisting of alternate courses of stone and wooden beams cemented together with wet clay. This seven-storey high edifice is topped by a wooden verandah which runs round the upper storey. It looks like a Swiss Chalet. Staircases in the building are partially notched wooden logs and the building has many apartments, which can comfortably accommodate more than 100 people.

Tandi: Tandi the confluence point of river Chandra and Bhaga in Lahaul, Himachal Pradesh. Tandi is just 22 km from Hotel near Keylong.

Keylong: The district headquarters Keylong is located in the heart of Lahaul. It has been described by an early English traveler as a barbaric jewel “A rough cut emerald in a bronze in a silver setting”.


Udaypur: Renowned for the ancient Marikula Mata Temple, the picturesque hamlet of Udaipur is located on the banks of Chandrabhaga River in Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. The pilgrimage site is considered holy by both Hindus and Buddhists.

Trilokinath Temple: Triloknath temple is situated in Udaipur sub division of District Lahaul and Spiti of Himachal Pradesh. It is nearly 45 KM from Keylong, Distt Head Quarter of Lahaul and Spiti early 146 KM from Manali. Ancient name of Triloknath temple is Tunda vihar. This is holy shrine is revered equally by Hindus and the Buddhists. Hindus consider Triloknath deity as ‘Lard Shiva’ while the Buddhists consider the deity as ‘Arya Avalokiteshwar ‘Tibetan language speaking people called him as ‘Garja Fagspa‘.

Surajtal: Tso Kamtsi or Suraj Tal also called Surya Tal, is a 800 m long lake that lies just below the 4,890 m high Bara-lacha-la pass in Lahaul and Spiti valley of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is the third highest lake in India, and the 21st-highest in the world.

Baralacha Pass: Bara-lacha la also known as Bara-lacha Pass, or Bārā Lācha La, is a high mountain pass in Zanskar range, connecting Lahaul district in Himachal Pradesh to Leh district in Ladakh. The Leh–Manali Highway traverses the pass.

Sarchu: Sarchu is a major halt point with tented accommodation in the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway, on the boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh in India. It is situated between Baralacha La to the south and Lachulung La to the north, at an altitude of 4,290 m.

Chandertal Lake: Chandra Taal is one of the most beautiful lakes in Himachal Pradesh. Chandra Taal is located in Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh which is home of high peaks, huge glaciers, passes, monasteries, temples , lakes and also origin of two large rivers called Chandra and Bhaga. Both rivers meet at Tandi village of Lahaul and Spiti later assumes as river Chenab.
