Nature Park Manali is the one of the main attraction of Manali. This park consist three parts. One is near Mall Road Manali, second one is behind Municipal Corporation office and third one is at Hadimba Temple.

Beautiful view of Rohtang Pass Highway Tunnel Project construction site during winters. It is North Portal of the Project which is near to Koksar around 25 km from Rohtang Pass. This end on tunnel closed 4 to 5 months during winters due to heavy snowfall and extreme climate in the area. 

Beas Kund is one of the most beautiful lakes in Manali. It is the holy lake were Rishi Vyas took his bath daily and it is also the origin of the River Beas. It is also a popular trek which attracts lots of trekkers every season. 

Rohtang Tunnel Project is a joint venture of AFCONS Infrastructure of India and STRABAG AG of Austria. Project is under supervision of Boarder Road Organization (BRO).Total distance of Rohtang tunnel project will be 8.8 km. Tunnel is at 3,100 meters height. Rohtang Tunnel will reduces distance between Manali and Keylong by 60 kms. After completion of this tunnel it will play a significant role to connect Leh Ladhak, Drass and Kargil area with rest of India and also for regular military supplies for Siachen Glacier. 

Manu Rishi Temple is situated at Old Manali village which is 3 kilometers from Mall Road Manali. Name Manali is derived from word “Manu Alaya” which means “the abode of Manu”. Manu was among the family of ancient Hindu sages Saptarishi. Manu recreated human life and nature after the great flood which had washed out the complete world.

This is one of the traditional houses in Old Manali which in built in Kat- Ki Kuni style. These houses are made up of stone and wood and are earthquake resistant. These types of traditional houses are also available in other villages of Manali.

Sethan Village is on the way to Hamta Pass. It is around 25 kms away from Manali. This image is of winter season after fresh snowfall.
